mjay Posted July 10, 2003 Posted July 10, 2003 Hello I am creating a largere solution and would like to add a calendaring module that will handle multiple schedules. I have looked at solutions from: http://www.asptech.com - Calendar Monster http://www.productivecomputing.com - and a few others that I can't think of right now. I am looking for feedback from anyone that has integrated a calendaring solution into a FM database. Thanks Michael
Lee Smith Posted July 10, 2003 Posted July 10, 2003 Hi Michael, Check out www.fmfiles.com There are seveal calendars available for download there, and many fit you description of needs. HTH LEE
LaRetta Posted July 10, 2003 Posted July 10, 2003 Hi Michael, I've seen some clever pop-up cals (for selecting calendar dates, etc.), but the best calendars I've seen (for modifying to integrate with FM) are: * By Steve Fleck [email protected] called Calendar. I've attached it here. * By DJ here on Forum - I think in our samples section. I'm assuming you want to design your own and just want to see how to do it. LaRetta 48192-Cal.zip
mjay Posted July 10, 2003 Author Posted July 10, 2003 I started looking at fmfiles.com and found a nice solution for a calendar popup to get single dates. The client is currently using Now Up-to-date so I am really looking for a complete calendaring system and do not want to build my own. It would by a good exercise for a class but I have no need to reinvent the wheel. I would love to hear from someone who has integrated a calendaring solution into a larger project. Thanks Michael
Lee Smith Posted July 10, 2003 Posted July 10, 2003 There are excellent parts of calendar/schedule/task/activity solutions aplenty out there. However, in order to incorporate them into your solution, you will feel like you have done "a good exercise for a class" in order to make it work with your solution. I purchased Steve Abrahamson - www.asctech.com - CalendarMonster
