How I can write in a text the qoute ascII simbol without filemaker don

  • Author

hey, friend, I've tried that.. but it didn't work...

may be i'm not doing the things well,...

i just want -in general- to write ascII simbols into a chain of string without filemaker tells me that I can

""" your text """

3 quotes - your text -3 quotes. ---->I want to say "Hello" to you....

Thanks, Ugo. That's one I didn't know about either. smile.gif

Well,

Just try it with 4 + 4 as I'm not quite sure now, and lazy to test it.

""" "your text" """

One of the two solution should work though

Edited : Not that lazy, but still hesitating

JT,

Absolutely not related to the topic, but just thought someone who is stucked with quotes probably also is with apostrophes...

Removing Apostrophe

One of FM Curiosity I think. I remember the TIME I spent on this one, before changing my ideas as I couldn't find any way to do it. Then, I crossed a semi-god here laugh.gif

hey, boys.. and what if i have:

"codigo[" & NumToText(Status( CurrentRecordNumber)) & "] = " & codigo

and, of course, i want to see a preview like that:

codigo[1]="xxxxxxx"

...

"codigo[" & NumToText(Status( CurrentRecordNumber)) & "]=" & """ & codigo & """

Should do it.
