I have downloaded the fm solution framework it does everything i need it to do but how do i change the curency from $to

Hi Jim,

In the layout mode.

Go to layout mode and select the field. Then go to Menu - Format - Number. There you will find several options to use, one is currency symbol.

Thanks Lee I should have made my question clearer I changed all the symbols I could find when I make up an invoice it shows it in pounds sterling, the problem is when i print the invoice it comes out in dollars I have looked at the invoice in layout view but I cannot find where to change the $ sign

If I am not mistaken, I think the print invoice layout is located in the line items file. I could be wrong. Follow the print script to see where it goes.
