George Posted August 13, 2000 Posted August 13, 2000 Filemaker 5 PC I have a table of images that I want to use but only want to store the reference to the image. If the user clicks on the image I would like for Microsoft Imaging to open up and allow the user to zoom etc on that particular pic. The insert object performs this just fine except it also embedds the pic in the record causing the fp5 file to grow too large. I looked in FM5 help and there is information on the link created from file but this also embedds. How can I link a picture to another folder and have a preview of the pic in filemakers container and when the user clicks on the pic it will open up that picture in microsoft imaging? Thanks [This message has been edited by George (edited August 13, 2000).]
