showing all records in portal

Featured Replies

Hi all

not to similar with portal as you can read.

I have a db for our national board numbers which has 700 records and would like to show all the records for review at the same time in a portal. Sofar i have been unsucessful and can only get one record to appear at a time. I know there must be a way to do this but cannot figure this out.

Thanks in advance

Lionel

Use a constant self-relationship (1::1) for your portal and all records for the file will be displayed.

Hi Quene

I have tried that - i have a 1:1 relationship - self joining on national board number but only one number is displayed in the portal at a time.

enclose is a condensate version up what i have done. see original post

thanks

lionel

No, I meant constant as in the field's value is the same for all records in the file, like a field called constant that is a calculation with the value 1. Any other relationship won't work if there can be differing values throughout the file.
