FM to SQL

Hey everyone..I just joined the group, something I should have done years ago. I have a few questions I hope can be answered by someone smarter than me. I have been using FM for over 16 years but I am a newbie at trying to make it work on the web. First off, my Web Host will only accept SQL. So started to teach myself SQL....(lol)! I don't think it's worth my time since FM is so much more powerfull. My questions:

1. How do I get my FM data base to work on my web site?

2. Is there a way to import FM into SQL? Is this really needed?

3. Where should I go to get some written documentation on how to create FM data bases for use on the Web?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Leonardo

You would need to find a hosting service which does FM. Or, orgainise a fixed IP etc for your own FM host.

Check the CDML Forum for some insight to building FM web-applications. Some example files also exist. It may be worth your while to do a Search on "CDML Reference Database".

All the best.
