Featured Replies

Is there a way to run a pattern count on a field from a related file ... here is what i am trying - PatternCount(DEV_Cadyware::Info_Package,"J") - and its not working

any ideas would be appreciated

Hi Andrew,

Your example should work just fine. Make sure that the calculation is NUMBER. smile.gif

it is a number ... its just driving me nuts .... anyone have ANY IDEA WHY THIS WON'T WORK?:

Just so you are aware, this will only search for "J" in the first related record (based on the relationship's sort order), in case you were trying to search throughout the related file.

Nope ... I am just trying to do a pattern count on one field of one record ...
