Total of numeric field for records from portal?

Hi, ... Is there any way to get the total (summary) of a numeric field, only for the records appearing in a portal? (e.g. total of "quantity" for only those records that appear in a portal) Thanks is advance

Sum(relationship::field) where relationship is the one applicable to the portal.
