I am working on a database for a cabinetshop.

I export my data out and open it up with microsoft excel.

Once it is in MS Excel, I produce a pie chart to graphically represent relationships. As a value is changed, the pie chart changes.

I would like to automate this process.

Is there a way to produce something like an ODBC link where change in filemaker would automatically reflect the change in MS Excel?

Can somebody aim me in the right direction?

Hi Jarvis,

I suggest you check into xmChart. I've seen it in action and it's wonderful. It will take your FM data - no need to export to Excel at all, and produce gorgeous charts of all kinds which will update dynamically.
