MAC OS 10.2.8 Update FM Files not opening

Since the update to OS 10.2.8 I am not able to open any FM file. I tried using FM6 and FM 5.5 on local and remote volumes. File is "opening" the FM Password box is showing up I can type the password... and then FM hangs up with a spinning beachball.

Workaround so far disable TCP/IP networking in FM pref. and work only on local files.

Anybody else with similar problems ??

You might try repairing permissions, not a sure fix, but the first thing I do after updating is run that routine. You do this with Disk Utility found in the Utility folder in applications. We updated all our systems here and have had no issues with FM5.5 server or FM6 or FM6Dev with .8

It's worth noting that the 10.2.8 update is no longer available...

That's funny. Some problem with systems that have 10-base T connections.

And Mac users complain about MS... smile.gif
