adamkarwowski Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 hey guys. its been a while. i have a search button which takes you to the main layout so you can search by first and or last name in the records. the thing is everytime i hit search, the first name feild already has the number 1 in it. so i always have to backspace then write the name in. i already went thru the script to see if it was the culprit but its fine. any ideas?::?:?:?:?:
Fitch Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Well... Status (CurrentMode) would be the number 1 in Find mode. Is that in your script? You'll have to post the script to get a meaningful answer.
Ugo DI LUCA Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Hi Adam, What's your script like ? Any copy/paste in it ? Are you searching the current field or setting a global ?
adamkarwowski Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 well this is all that is in the script. set zoom level [150%] go to layout [client intake form] enetr find mode

adamkarwowski Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 positive. i named the script find clinet and i go into the details and thats all there is nothing else its been this way since i created it but i am getting so tired of the 1
adamkarwowski Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 even when i go into scriptmaker and select find client script and it perform, it still shows a number 1 in the first name field.
Ugo DI LUCA Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Sorry to insist, but what's inside the Enter Find [Here???] Really nothing ? Or do you have a second script with same name ?
adamkarwowski Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 opps i forgot to list that. that last line is.. Enter Find Mode [Restore]
Ugo DI LUCA Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Little details..... Take care. And you said you were having good sleep Papa ! Be well and kiss the baby for me.
adamkarwowski Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 i guess i do need more sleep. its starting to get extremely cold here so i still am not wide awake yet at 3 in the afternoon your leaving already?
adamkarwowski Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 ok this is what i did i went into find mode, erased the number 1, went to scriptmaker, selected find client, then edit then ok. it asked if i wanted to keep or replace, i chose replace and guess wehat.... no more number 1!!!!!!!!
Ugo DI LUCA Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 You just needed to reset the Restore option Enter Find[ ] That's what I meant.
