Hi nathalieb,

If you want the words you are searching for to highlight (either within a found set) or within a text field, try CobaltSky's demo at NightWing Enterprises called Formatting All Occurrences of a User-Specified Word/Phrase.

I doubt it will help you with using synonyms however. crazy.gif You may be able to create your own file of synonyms and point to this file in your spell-check but I've never considered this or tried it. smirk.gif

Hi nathalieb,

Version 6 new feature Find and Replace feature does this. Prior to version 6, you have to do a work around.

I set up a special layout for to do this, one field, using the technique by John Burgess. Here are a couple of others worth exploring, and are all available at URL:

Look for:

Text Highlight by: John Burgess

Cheesy Word Highlighting by: James E. Mastrianni

Highlight Find Criteria by: John Mark Osborne
