Question regarding using the find request

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to FM.

I'm wanting to isolate incomplete address records I've imported into a new database. I know about the = find command. My question is how would I use that to query only those records which do not have a company name OR do not have a address OR do not have a city etc... etc...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated :-)

Thanks

Ron

The inverse of all those ORs is a set of records that DOES have those fields filled.

1. Enter FIND Mode

2. On a single record, put an asterix (*) in all text fields that must be filled, and >-9999999 in any numeric field that must be filled.

3. Put a check in the OMIT checkbox & press the FIND button

4. Delete all the records in the found set. What's left will only records with all required fields filled with something.
