Been using Filemaker pro 6...Do I Need Developer?

Hello everyone and Thank you for your responses.

I have been parttime developing solutions for small companies over the last four years. I do this as a side profit. I have always been using just the program to make these customized databases...do I really need to upgrade to be using the Developer software? Is it really worth it? I mean, I have been developing for a while, just on the main program, and advising my clients to buy the same program...it is just a lot of money to upgrade to developer and I want to know that it is really what everyone is using who is publishing databases for people..?

Sure, there are many users of FM Developer. You clients will not have to buy the FM engine unless they want to have networking version. Also promoting your solution will benefit from free trials.
