How does one convert a portal into a concatenated list?

You can create a value list in the main file that's based on the relationship you're using for the portal. Then you can create an unstored calculation in this file using the design function ValueListItems( ) to hold a

The main drawback with the value list method is that the list is always in alphabetical order regardelss of the relationship definition (because it's a value list based on a field) and duplicate entries are removed. Having said that, it's been my mainstay method.

Some plugins will concatenate related records too.

Or a GoToRelated Records based on MainId::RelatedId ending in "List View".... tongue.gif
