Has anyone run into this situtaion: Occasionally while using the remote admin plugin feature for my 6.0 FM server (plug in is in my FM developer 5.5)and accessing the server (maybe to close a file) the server system crashes? The server is about 3 years old and has been very reliable. But something is "axe"ing the server and causing a crash. I can't determine if the problem is related to the admin, developer,server or the system. I have all new up dates in all systems (W2K) and app's. The server event log doesn't provide any clue.

Any thooughts?

There is not FM server version 6.

You should install the remote admin plugin from server installation CD.

Your right, It's server 5.5. Plug-in is installed correctly from the proper CD and is plugged into developer 5.5

Strange... could you try the FM 5.5 non-developer?

Are you running FMPD on the server machine, or on a different box

It's a different machine (W2K).

Server is running on a dedicated W2K. I'm running on separate machine (W2K) networked via TCP/IP.
