Hello Roman,

There are quite a few different ways to achieve a summary of the number of each of the values that appears in your database, but which approach is most suitable depends on many factors such as how and when you want the summaries to appear, how large your database is, how frequently the values on the list change and how many values the list may extend to over time - to name but a few.

One of the more common methods would be to create a summary field defined as 'Count of...' the field that has the value list applied to it, then create a sub-summary on a list layout (defined to appear when the database is sorted by the value field) and place the summary field plus a copy of the value field within the sub-summary part.

Then, whenever you sort the database by the field which contains the value list items, switch to the sub-summary layout and enter preview mode (or print) you will be presented with a list that shows the number of each of the selected items in the current found set.

If that approach doesn't suit, perhaps if you post some additional details, it will be possible for forum members to outline some of the various other alternatives for you to consider.

It is impolite to use All Caps in posting to the Forum or any other lists. All Caps are hard to read and they mean that you are shouting.

I apologize for using all caps. When I sent the message, I was not paying attention to my font. Thank you for the reply.
