Date Range Calculation

Featured Replies

Hi this is my first time posting on to the forum. The question may sound stupid. My case is I have a range of data entered daily and while viewing the report, they want it automated by just clicking the buttons without need to key in date range for this week. I have no problem creating for the week and months. For doing this also I have cracked lots of books and come out with it. I just couldn't get the Year done. Can anyone help me on this ? I have attached the file.

You could set up two new fields:

I have tried the method you mention. But I can't get the result or maybe can you put the idea you had into my attachment and email me ? Thanks for your help. Really appreciate that.

Hi ken,

here is the solution.

Regards,

Henry

sorry, forgot to put the attatchment.

But just tell you now

actually the insert calculation you can put

DateToText(Start Range G) & "..." & DateToText(End Range G)

This will solve.

Any question you can direct call me.

Regards,

Henry

Hello Ken

Henry's solution fits your question well. Just for the records the approach with GTRR (Go To Related Records).
