Sending email & attachment using Microsoft Outlook

Hello

I have a very simple database holding contact details for people and a very simple script that sends an email using the send mail command. It works fine - opening up a new message in Microsoft Outlook, setting the subject and the body of the email, but when I try to attach a word document nothing happens. No email, nothing. Filemaker pro thinks something is happening as the next part of the script is to set the Email sent field to Yes and that happens, but the email itself isn't created.

Any ideas (apart from ditching Microsoft Outlook which unfortunately isn't an option!)?
