Kristen Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 I frequently export data from FileMaker from many fields. However, when I opend the exported file in Excel, it is difficult to determine which data came from which field. Is there any way to EXPORT THE FIELD name along with the data? I am sure this is possible, but I am stuck as to how. Thank you.
Lee Smith Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 Try Exporting your file as one of these: DBF, HTML, Merge formats.
-Queue- Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 Also, if you export as a .mer, name it as a .csv. It will open with Excel and contain the field name as the first row in each column. The only thing you will lose is leading zeroes.
