ricardito Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Argh! Have a simple script, allow abort off go to layout page setup enter preview mode (pause) show message if 1 enter browse mode go to layout if 2 print go to layout Problem is it goes to the first record every time. I take out the preview mode and message choice to test and goes to the correct record. I check my reports page which has about a dozen reports that do similar stuff and they all work fine. Everytime I put in the preview again it goes to the first record again. When I return it takes me back to the correct record. I've never encountered this before and it's driving me loco! ricardito
-Queue- Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Duplicate the script and delete all but the Print Setup and Print steps. Run this script with dialog on to verify it's correct. If it's not, manually perform a Print Setup and Print, then 'Replace' the settings in your full script.
ricardito Posted December 29, 2003 Author Posted December 29, 2003 No go. Did as you suggested, still goes to first record. Deleted script and started over, step by step, soon as I put in the preview it shows first record. Deleted all records and started over, same thing.
-Queue- Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Oh, if you have more than one record found, then of course it will preview with the first one. What you want to do is either isolate the current record or store it in a global so that you can Go to Record/Request/Page ['gRecord'], assuming each record is in fact one page only.
