You folks are the first to know... I'm taking the plunge and quitting my day job to pursue FMP development work in early February!

Thanks to you good people at the Forum for your support and encouragement.

My goal is to work with good developers in and around Sydney and generally get the teamwork-thing happening. I had a few offers late last year for FMP work but couldn't take them on because I was still tied to my day job, and I'd rather not do a job than do it badly. That won't be a problem any longer!

Way to go Vaughan! Work for developers here in the States has dried up in the last 4 or so years. When I first moved to the West Coast I did a search for FM developers on a few of the job boards and there were many to be found...now...nuthin'.

What is the environment like in Oz?
