jfurness Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 Just wondered whether anyone has had any experience of how Google indexes Filemaker websites - or not, as the case seems to be!!! It has come to light, after running several Filemaker driven websites that Google isn't able to follow Filemaker generated links to pages. Static pages are indexed just fine, but for some reason Google can not follow dynamic pages. Does anyone know why or how? If you go a search for 'known' text on one of your sites in Google, does it show in Google's search results? Any help would be appreciated since I'll be looking to run these sites from another database solution otherwise :-(
Addam Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 It sounds to me as if you are having trouble getting google to recognize your FMP driven sites? Make sure you have all of your metta tags in place on the web pages. All of my sites are fine. Hope this helps...
