i have a simple portal in a document which fm can use to create a document in a related database.

this doesn't seem to work using the IWP - is there a workaround?:?

Did you make sure that your related database is open and shared on the web?

Hi, if you want more than a very simple, pre-set web interface you have to go to CDML and custom publishing!

I does give you the ability to create some very impressive solutions quickly and is IMO by far the easiest Dynamic web interface to learn, without having the learing curve of some of the others*

if you go that route there are at least 3 ways to create/amend records displayed in portals and they've all be discussed here.
