I does give you the ability to create some very impressive solutions quickly and is IMO by far the easiest Dynamic web interface to learn, without having the learing curve of some of the others* if you go that route there are at least 3 ways to create/amend records displayed in portals and they've all be discussed here. regards, jeff - *currently struggling with php!
