RETURN TO SPECIFIC RECORD

I have a list of tasks.

When a worker comes to the screen, I would like them to be able to select a task then click on a button with their name on it.

This button would hypothetically copy all the values of a record onto a separate layout (or file) and activate a START TASK button.

When the worker returns to the screen they would see that the start button has been replaced with a STOP TASK button. Activating this button would calculate the time invested and signal completion status.

What I am trying to accomplish is to have one place to post or pick up tasks.

I need the ability to "grey out" the task so that if somebody is already doing the task it doesn't get done twice.

I also need to have a way for the worker to navigate back to the specific record they were working on, in order to update progress for that task.

This navigation needs to reflect that the tasks will be listed in random order and several people will be logging on and off the screen at intermittent intervals.

Any thoughts here?
