Shortcuts not recognised

Im using server 5 and when I paste shortcuts in the server directory they are not opened on the server. However if i paste in the actual files then they are picked up and it works. Anyone have any idea with this?

Server, as far as I can see it, only serves up files that end with .fp5

In 'cmd-terms', shortcuts end with .lnk, so I don't think this would work.

FM Server needs the actual files to be either in the same folder as server, or nested one folder down. Shortcuts and aliases will not work.
