Hi,

I am about to do a new project for a mid sized company that due to Fm 7 Server not being release yet, has not upgraded anything to FM 7 yet. They want me to create and add to current 5/6 systems.

I was wondering if anyone has found any methods for making 6 databases easier to convert to FM7 when they upgrade.

Version: v7.x

When do you expect to roll out your new project? It might be worthwhile to just develop it in 7.

Its should be a fairly simple database, not very complex, but it might be worth thinking about its future. It might also be good to get some ground rules for other people in this situation.

I'm not sure when they will upgrade to FM 7, not at least till the server because they make heavy use of it and upgrading/training 100+ clients + 3 Servers in 3 different countries fast is not easy.
