Pull down list problem

Featured Replies

I have a solution that uses pulldown lists to select an item. The list are set up like this:

Database 1 - Basicly a table. Contains info for pulldowns

Database 2 - The entry screen

I use 2 fields for the pulldown field 1 shows the item number and discription (both comming from to fields in database 1).

Field 2 is a lookup from field 1.

When I click in field 1 I only see the item number and not the item. (I don't see the also display values from this field step)

Thanks in advance

Version: v6.x

Platform: Windows XP

Create a value list in Database 1 that uses values from a field (field 1) and also show values from a second field (field 2). Then in Database 2, create a value list that uses Value list from another file, and select the value list from Database 1.

Be aware that Relational ValueLists do not work through the WebCompanion.

All the best.
