Hi all.

I'm new in File Maker, i have a problem now in my new job, this guys work's with FILEMAKER, nice, but i need work with LINUX and Virtual Domain Name, my idea it's work with one filemaker and publish multiple database with VIRTUAL NAME. ex:

xxx.myjob.com => 1111 and 2222 database

yyy.myjob.com => 3333 and 4444 database

It's posible do it with Filemaker 6 Pro?:

Because now i have the problems with Virtual Name, sometimes i see one database in one virtual name and sometime in another, it's a problem or a bug with Filemaker ???

Thank's to all.

Depends on where your DNS is "pointing" the names. Are the correct Port numbers being used? Test it with just IP addresses!

Good Luck.

Hmm yeah the DNS is "pointing" to correct port and ip, the fact linux server is function OK, apache run very well, my problem is to proxy the "xxx.myjob.com" and "yyy.myjob.com" to FILEMAKER, sometime i see ones DATABASE and sometime i see anothers, this is my question, it's posible IN FILEMAKER set the "publish" some DataBase associate for a specific request in HTTP 1.1, equal in APACHE with VIRTUAL NAME SERVERS???

Good Luck.
