Look ups not working with IWP

Featured Replies

I have two simple databases: "Entry Form" and "Member List". "Entry Form" is published via IWP (Member list is open - but not seen). When a member enters his/her name in the entry form, when First name and Last name match, the "member list" db should provide the address, city, state, etc. info (as they are defined as lookups in the entry form). This works in the db, however, when I post to web ... the lookups don't happen. I have priviledges set equally on both dbs. I can't figure out why the look ups don't work. confused.gif

Hi, cranes! I'm afraid I don't have FMP7 and have not really used IWP but I agree that this does not make sense if both databases are shared and have the same privileges. If only "Entry Form" is published via IWP, however, maybe FMP does not allow a web user to access the other db... even to read data from it. Double-check to make sure both db's are shared and accessible via IWP.

Good luck!
