I don't know of any way, however I get aground this by creating a layout with the field(s) I want and buttons to do the actions such as continue script or exit script. I put in a go to layout step in the script and it works just like a dialog box. And looks better.

If you envision doing messages containing fields more than once, I strongly suggest that you buy the Troi Dialogs plugin. This plugin will give you loads of additional dialog capabilities. You can see them at 'www.troi.com'. It is well worth the money. As to why FM can't do it,

who knows what evil lurks....

Is there a way to display data from a field in the Show Message dialog box or any other dialog box that I don't know about?
