Okay I have added a couple of fields - Last Accessed Date and Time which is updating and working fine. However how can I distinguish between last accessed and last modified? As as soon as I add the last accessed date and time the file has been modified?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Simon

Can you clarify what you mean by accessed? If you mean someone looking at a record, then there is no way AFAIK to trap that.

If you set the last accessed by script somehow, then yes, the record has been modified. Anytime you make a change to a record, it has been modified.

The last accessed is by script yes....I suppose the only way round it is to have some sort of related file which tracks the accessed and then modified will only change when that file has changed.
