Extra empy row always prints

Featured Replies

I have what I hope is a simple problem. I have a report that prints, among other things, images through a portal. The portal has three rows (the only field on each row is *picture*), and is set to slide if there is less than three photos. My problem is that one extra row prints when there is less than three. So, if there are three photos, they print, if there are two, three rows still print, but the third is blank, if there is one photo the second row shows up blank, and if there are no photos one blank row shows up. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Just a thought, does your relationship allow creation of records? If so, try using a duplicate relationship that doesn't have that option selected.

It does allow creation of records, and I thought that that could be the problem, but I'm not sure how to fix it - evidently with this duplicate relationship. Could you explain what that means?

Create the same relationship, but don't allow creation of related records. Then you won't have an extra row always awaiting entry of new records.

Oh! Beautiful. I went in and created another relationship that's an exact duplicate, but without the ability to create new records, and it worked perfectly. Thanks so much.

Woo hoo! I was wondering why I always had a blank entry at the end of my portal... no "Last Name, First Name", just a " , "! Thanks!
