Possible with Calculation rather than Script?

Featured Replies

I am working on a solution to calculate Benefit Hour Accruals based on entries on a Timesheet.

For each hour that is entered on the Timesheet, the user accrues Benefit Hours (Sick/Personal or Vacation) based on their individual Accrual Rate.

The Accruals need to cap out at a certain number of hours for the year, for the week, and at an upper limit (after which they must use some before they can begin accruing again).

The only way I have determined this can be done is using scripting, but I would love to do with only calculations. I keep running into trouble with circular references.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Can you attach a sample copy of the file? I'm not too familiar with payroll calculations. We can probably do what you want using GetField( ) though.
