Can a field be enabled/disabled by a checkbox?

Is there a way to grey out or disable a field if a checkbox is unchecked

and enable the field when it is checked?

Is there a plugin that will do this?

You could also do it with the ol' portal visibility trick, also developed by John Mark Osborne. Search the site that Lee offers for visibility and you should find a way to do this.

You can keep the field visible but have it "lock" by placing a clear button on top of your field and attach a script to the button that basically says

If (checkbox = "yes")

gotoField (FieldName)

Else

Haltscript

End If
