Skip Portal Rows

Is there a way to skip rows in a portal? I want to use a portal with 25 rows to show appointments for a particular day, but want appointments to show up appropriately spaced throughout the day rather than simply in consecutive rows. Can this be done? Any help would be much appreciated.

Populate your related appointments file with 25 records for each day. The method you use to accomplish this depends on how your solution is put together. E.g., you could set up a whole year at time, or a month, or a selected range of days, or run a script only when a day is selected.
