Can I insert a carriage return in Find/Replace?

Featured Replies

I can't figure out how to insert a carriage return/paragraph mark in Find/Replace. I want to replace tagged text with a carriage return. Copy and pasting the Paragraph Return symbol doesn't work and I can't figure out the keyboard shortcut to insert the character either. Can this be done, or do I have to have a script?

Okay, I did that, but all it did was insert a visable paragraph mark. It didn't actually treat it as a carriage return. What's up with that?

thanks

You have to use the PILCROW (paragraph symbol

Thanks Lee, I'll give it a shot. Any reading recommendations for learning about calculations, scripting, etc? I'm pretty comfortable with design, layout and navigation, but not so much with the more technical and computer programmer savvy stuff.

thanks
