September 8, 200421 yr I'm trying to get FileMaker to display calculated values in the color I picked through FileMaker's TextColor function when I display those in fields on layouts I created. For some unclear reason, the calculated values appear in black only, and only show color when I click on them. Is there a known workaround to this? I couldn't find information on this anywhere. Any hints will be much appreciated!
September 9, 200421 yr Author I'm trying to reproduce Excel's feature that can change a number's color according to a calculation result. I simply need to mark negative results in red.

September 9, 200421 yr Queue said ... TextColor only works on text fields. Actually JT, TextColor will work on number fields. It breaks if the number is then formatted at the field level (instead of leaving it as general format). Dates fields however will never colorize ...
