joemacgruder Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Does anyone know of a sripting manner in which to omit all but the current record (being created) on any table in a design? This has been one heck of a head scratcher for me as of late.
Lee Smith Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 With the record active, do a Find All, Omit, and then Find Omitted. Lee
-Queue- Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Create a self-relationship based on id. Then Go to Related Record [show only related; "self-rel"]. This is more trustworthy in a multi-user environment. If you Find All, Omit, and Find Omitted, and someone else creates a new record between the Omit and Find Omitted steps, it will also be found.
