At the moment, we are sending out emails with text only however we are wishing to shift to html formatted emails.

All the content is stored in the FileMaker Pro DB (Mac FMP 6) and I'm not too sure what we need to create HTML formatted emails.

The email client that we use is Entourage of OS X. At this point things work fine if we are sending text only emails.

Any ideas of what we need or tool and where I might find some how to into this would be appreciated.

You could use an email plugin like SMTPit to send the mail directly from FM to the mail server. SMTPit can encode email to be sent as HTML.

No plugins required. Use the free XMail scripting addition + applescript.
