joemacgruder Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 I've assembled a project with many duplicate pages that have the same graphics (tab bars, background, etc.) only to find that when I inserted the graphics the first time (waaaay before formatting there size and shapes) I must have checked the Store Only A Reference to the File box. So now I when I want to send out a copy to someone else they don't get any of the graphics. Is there any way to relink these graphics or am I screwed and will have to re-insert and format all of them ( a process I am not looking forward to).
hayesk Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 Are the graphics stored with the database (not in, but in the same folder)? If so, then if you send them the whole folder, graphics and all, they should be able to view them.
joemacgruder Posted September 28, 2004 Author Posted September 28, 2004 No, unfortunately I chose graphics out of a different folder.
Deep Thought II Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 in that case... u'll have to re-insert them on the layout, and this time, dont use references...
kiwiora Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 If size of the file is an issue, and you use the same button/graphic on multiple layouts, perhaps think about using a global container field. That way you are only really technically putting the graphic in one place?
joemacgruder Posted September 30, 2004 Author Posted September 30, 2004 Nah, size wasn't an issue. Somehow I just accidentally checked the reference file only box
