Sliding prints differently from Preview Mode

Featured Replies

Hello. I am looking for some advise with sliding feature. Here is my case.

I am utilizing sliding feature of FileMaker to print signature right under the text of letter.

On the layout I have 3 fields:

1. Body (text)

2. Signature (container)

3. Sub Signature (text)

Printing layout is 3 pages, so Body field is spanned over 3 pages, and the other 2 are just below it at the very bottom of page 3.

When I look at the screen in Preview Mode, sliding works perfectly, but when printed, it leaves an extra space between Signature fields and Body field (looks like they didn't slide all the way to be just right under Body field).

Thanks in advance for help on this.

Can you attach a zipped, stripped-down copy of your file?

Yes, just give me a momemt to strip it down.

Thanks for willing to look into it.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't get it to work either. shocked.gif

Perhaps a printing expert will chime in here. I'm not even having any luck creating a new layout and putting the two text fields on it, and setting them to slide. Is this a new file, a copy of the other one, or what?

This is a striped down version of an actual file for my solution.

POLTERGEIST:(

Thanks for trying. Hope printing expert will find this thread. smile.gif

It seems to work in OS X.

Yes, it is working in OS X. Interesting...

Try changing the font to Arial. I changed the font on your sample file and it seems to bring up the singature and title up under the body of the letter.
