dutchbailey Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Here's what I'm doing. I have a properties database (real estate). The main output from this database is a sell sheet. I have fields like TITLE, SHORT DESCRIPTION, MAIN DESCRIPTION, PHOTO 1, PHOTO 1 CAPTION and so on. I also have 10 fields titled: BULLET 1, BULLET 2 and so on. But some of these bullets get long (and thus wrap) and I would like to have the second and third lines to indent: (this doesn't actually show it indented here, but you get the idea)
Ted S Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Dutch, I'm on the Windows platform but maybe Mac is similar. Try this: a. From the layout mode right click on the field you want to format. b. Choose Text Format. c. Click on the Paragraph button. d. Enter a positive value into the Left Indent field (i.e. 0.25) e. Enter a negative value inti the First Indent field (i.e. -0.25) Hope this helps.
Lee Smith Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 This was discussed in a recent thread under the Subject: Begin indent halfway through a line? to which I posted a file that you might want to take a look at. Click Here to Go HTH Lee
