displaing images over the web

Featured Replies

Dear All,

When i insert an image into a container it works fine when i use the Filemaker application, however when i view it via the web nothing is displayed.

I know this is not to do with access and privileges.

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks

I have images stored in container fields that do work over instant web publishing. However, I've noticed that they won't show on the web if referenced from a related layout.

I'm thinking of switching to storing references to images instead. Of course then the images must be stored in the web folder.

Thnaks for the reply.

I can get it to work if the container field is not global. As i want the same picture to be displayed for all records i am still stuck.

I don't want to just insert picture without a container field because it has to redraw it each time a record is shown via the web.

Any ideas ?

Good luck with the Chemistry

I'm using a global repeating field with a trash can icon in one rep and nothing in the other. This field shows for me over IWP. A calc container field which references this field also shows up in IWP, and it also shows up in a portal over IWP. The only ones that don't show up for me are related container fields placed directly on the related layout in a one-to-one situation.
