Do you have a portal of Details in your Contacts layout? Do you have the foreign key, ID_fk, set equal to the primary key, ID_pk, in your Relationships Graph? Can you get to a blank row in the portal to add a Details record?

OK, so add the ID_fk (foreign key) and connect the primary and foreign keys in the Relationships Graph.
