This is an odd one... I haven't had much time to troubleshoot, so I hope someone will recognize the symptoms. I have several linked databases running under FileMaker Server 7... just moved them over from FM Pro Version 6 this week. While doing a quick checkout of the system (I'm new to both the Server and FM 7), I noticed a disturbing glitch. I have a script that exports a few fields from many records into a text file (about 200 K worth). There are several layers of calculations performed to generate the final export fields. OK... here is the problem. This worked fine when the database was on my local machine, but today, I noticed several characters have been dropped from my output. When I display the fields on screen, they're correct. When I dump the file, sometimes some characters don't make it. (the problem doesn't happen every time, but when it does, it happens in the same places). This is really disturbing... I don't like software glitches that aren't repeatable. Any ideas? As a note, I set all the calculations to "unstored"

Make sure you have v2 server running.
