Hi, I dont know if my problem is because ofthe now outdated version, but we have been successfully using FM pro 4 on Windows NT and then 2000 platform. However, some installs dont work on the newer XP machines. Those that do install keep crashing and damaging the files. Is there a problem with this version in XP?

It's certainly not supported. But I know people who run it without having it crash. I would be very hesitant to do it...

Use XP's compatibility mode to run as NT. Right click FM icon | Properties | Compatibility | Run this program in compatibility mode for | NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5)
