I need to empty 3 fields when I duplicate a invoice (2 are date fields) (1 is a text field.) Is there an easy to script this. I need the rest of the invoice to remain untouched. Again thank you for the help. I need this to happen when I use the duplication button.

In the fields definitions, use the Auto-Enter option and select 'Data'. Don't enter any information into the Data field. Now when you duplicate, the fields will be cleared.

Thanks that worked great for 1 date field & 1 text field.. The other date field is creation date, so I would like it to enter todays date automatically. As it is now it saves the old date or if I use the auto enter it will be empty. ( I know thays what I asked for) but on second thought can I make that field auto enter todays date on a duplication?

Thanks for your help I figured out how to auto enter todays date in the dupe field
