Hey guys!

I'm new to the forums and I was interested in your posting, so on that note: Would you mind elaborating on how that works, I mean do I save the runtime twice once thru OS X and once thru Vitual PC?

Posted

To answer your question yes.

To create a runtime FileMaker needs to create an executable file for each platform.

Once you have created the runtimes once you can then just bind on the Mac for any updates (as long as you keep the same binding key) as the FileMaker files the runtime creates are the same for each platform. The only difference is the executables and system files that are created.

That is correct.
